Winter is Baaaack

We woke up to 4 inches of fluff!

Snow crusted trees are the beauty that can only be found in winter.

Beauty... snow touched trees are amazing.

We made snow angels!

We sledded for 1.5 hours!

We got crafty and made a snow "S" for Sassy Spalding's!

We came in with pink cheeks and all kinds of energy after some hot chocolate.

Then we snuggled in and started to read our blog book!

It's been a truly beautiful day of enjoying the white stuff. 

The Sassy Spalding's loved every minute of their time outdoors.

I am so happy that I started this blog 3 years ago... this year I'm going to try very hard to update frequently if not daily. (The daily updates have been easy because I did not have school work... now that the school work has started again, it's getting harder and harder but I'm managing.)  

The http://sassyspaldings365.blogspot.com/ has kept me motivated to keep taking pictures of these little Sassy Spalding's every day. Now, after receiving the blog book today in the mail... that is even more motivation that I could have imagined. It's the coolest thing ever to read. There are more things that I forgot, but immediately remembered when I re-read them... it was moving watching Kailee and Gracie as I read to them my thoughts and feelings about them. There was a request that they each have their own book every time so they can always have them forever. So... now I will work on saving up some money to re-make another Sassy House of Spalding 2009-2011 blog book and for the years to come I will make 2 of every one that we complete. I secretly hope that every book is 200 pages long because it was the best 3 hours of reading that I have ever spent.
