Little Moments

Sweet little moments... this morning I heard "Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the Way!" Being first hummed... then sung quietly and as the clock approach 7 a.m. it was increasing in volume and some delight. The little Christmas songs being sung in January are little moments that make me treasure your youth. You make me hum Christmasy carols unexpectedly sometimes... I love that it hits me at the strangests of times too; like laying in bed trying to sleep or while I'm putting dishes away or folding laundry. I have you both to thank for these little moments that make me smile. When I catch myself humming the "wintery-only" songs I smile and laugh out loud at myself. I laugh because then immediately I know why I'm humming "wintery-tunes" it's because of you both. Thank you for keeping me in touch with my youth. May you both always sing "wintery-Christmasy-tunes" throughout the year at unexpected moments for your entire life... never not hum a tune because it is not the season... the season is whenever we want it to be!
