And we went to Gramma Debbie's house to celebrate Christmas with Great Gramma Ruthie. We watched her open her very cool puzzle table. She's wanted to do puzzles for quite a long while but couldn't because she watches little hands that hinder her while... she was surprised and shocked to find in a flash that all her Grandkids partook in this special Christmas gift. She loved her surprise and called from abroad, "Merry Christmas my Grandkids, I'm a lucky ole broad." (Okay she didn't really didn't say "lucky ole broad" but I thought it funny.) We spent the entire evening at Gramma Deb & Grampa Lou's with Auntie Angela & cousins. Then we went to Church at St. Matthew's and then they came back to our house.
Once were home we did a lot of prep work for Christmas to begin...
Like dusting the driveway with reindeer food... because we know that oats and glitter catch the eye of the reindeer so Santa doesn't forget us!
Then we changed into our Christmas PJs and had to our 2nd Annual Secret Santa exchange.
| Gracie had Grampa Lou... she made a photo frame with herself in it and wrote a poem, "Roses are Red, Violets are Blue. Sugar is Sweet and So are You!" |
| Kailee had Gramma Deb. She made her a beautiful wreathe. |
| Daddy had me. He made me a salt dough ornament by hand that he cut into a heart, painted and glued your pictures on. |
| Gramma Deb had Gracie. She cheated and bought a kit to create a Santa and peppermint frame that included a picture of the both of them. |
| Grampa Lou had Kailee, he was very clever... he made origami butterflies out of money! |
| Mommy had daddy and I made him an ornament of us, with "Our 13th Christmas" written on the back. |
Then we all said our good nights complete with kisses... the hoolies even forgot to leave out the milk and cookies! Not to worry mommy did it, even though I forgot to take a picture!!!! Grr...
