Angels Singing...

...it was like being in Heaven tonight listening to and watching you both sing. Grace was so theatrical and Kailee sang her heart out during her solo - it was breathtaking. I love this time of year it brings out so many beautiful moments, moments that would not be captured as they were... these moments while one of a kind... while being incredibly impressive... while being so heartwarming also gives you both so much pride, confidence and self awareness. As I sat there watching Grace go through the moves to the Blitzen song, saying I was "in awe" of her extreme performance would be an understatement. This girl has got some serious moves and awesome attitude when it comes to performing in front of an audience. I could for see her doing some off Broadway productions in no time flat. Bravery is a word that I will use often I'm sure in this post... there was so much confidence coming from my girls tonight; it was the most proud I have been of being a parent. Grace was phenomenal when it came to the moves... I mean dang girl, she even had the flippin of the hair down to an extreme science.

Kailee was INCREDIBLE, no scratch that what's a word that describes a brave, beautiful, confident young lady... I am in at a loss for the right words. I have never seen the bravery in Kailee like this before. I had no idea that we had raised such an unbelievably amazing little person. Her voice was like an angel singing, extreme thought -- no -- it really was. Even Mrs. Asiala-Gross told me it would bring tears to my eyes... yep there I sat trying to look through the view finder to take pictures only not able to see because I was wiping tears away. The blurry vision of seeing my oldest made my heart fall in love with the brilliant young lady she is becoming.
