Sad days...

Today Great Grandma Joy went to heaven to be with Great Grandpa Pete and Jesus. Explaining this to you my Sassy's was so hard. My heart aches knowing that you both truly don't understand what that means when someone dies. When I told you that she went to Heaven, Kailee teared up and asked what happened that she went to Heaven because we said our prayers. Gracie asked if she is with Odie. Then you asked if she will be buried in the backyard with Odie. When I told you that she is being buried in a cemetery next to Great Grandpa Pete, Kailee asked what happens if you wake up and your under the ground. Then we had to have a talk about how when someone passes away they don't wake up again. This sparked a lot of questions... all of which mommy was happy to answer the best I could. Great Grandma Joy loved you so much my little Sassy girls... she was so proud of the young ladies you are both turning into. The funeral for Great Grandma Joy will be on Thursday and it will be simple and beautiful. Thank you for being such sweet good girls. xo
