Easter Part 1

Today was quite a day! Mommy awoke to the smell of polish sausage in the crock pot at 6:15 a.m.! (God bless daddy for getting up at 3 a.m. to put it in for me. He loves to continue the tradition that Grandpa Lou had done with mommy growing up. Which is a tradition that Great-Grandpa Lou had done with him.) I got up to start the coffee and mommy caught Kailee's little head peaking over her railing. So, mommy went into the bedroom and immediately Gracie popped up! The first thing both little Sassy Spalding's said was "Happy Birthday Mommy". This mommy's heart is so very full of love for you little Sassy's! Then they gave mommy a big hug and went to wake up daddy. Groggy daddy came out and started the video camera. Just before that occurred Gracie noticed that she had on different pj's than what she went to bed in. She exclaims, "OH my GOSH the Easter Bunny changed my pajamas!" To which Kailee quickly corrected her and said, "No Gracie mommy did it because she forgot she had Easter pj's before you went to sleep." Oh it was hilarious!! As you can see through the pictures, it was a wonderful Easter for you little Sassy's! That "Edgar Easter Bunny" a.k.a. E.E.B. was very proud of the accomplishment's you've made and your baskets were over flowing with cool odds and ends!

That E.E.B. hid tons of eggs! He also left paw prints on our TABLE! Crazy!!

He even hid a few eggs outside!

After all the Eastery fun, you gave mommy the birthday gifts you picked out, beautiful gold earrings! Kailee's were beautiful simple gold hoops and Gracies were elegant heart shaped hoop type earrings. Daddy is making mommy a shelf and Mommy is so super excited!
