At some point during our Crazy week Gg and Daddy did this Science experiment that Mrs. Leppin taught Grace in Science class! Items needed: water bottle, baking powder, vinegar and balloon. You put the vinegar in the water bottle and the baking powder in the balloon. Put the balloon on the bottle; shake the baking powder into the vinegar and watch the balloon fill with air. Everyone ooo'ed and ahhh'ed over it! |
Mommy got all pintrest'ed crazy and started experimenting with your hair! I loved the way it turned out! |
My little elves helped mommy seal and stamp all the Christmas cards! |
Everyone helped cut out Christmas cookies! I think that was my favorite thing we have done this holiday season. |
On Saturday we went to the Nutcracker Ballet with Gramma Deb, Auntie Angela, Abby and Miss Kelly. It was so much fun. Gracie won 2 tickets because she entered a coloring contest at Crooked Tree. It was awesome! |
After the show you were able to have photos with the ballerinas! Grace has decided she isn't much of a fan of ballet's without words. |
Then... poor D.S. was taped to the wall because apparently the wise men and snowmen were naughty and didn't want D.S. to go back and tell Santa! Oh boy that was something I tell ya! |
It has been quite a week around here! Our week ended well at school, Thursday poor Gg woke up puking. So, she missed the Steel Drum Band but by Friday she was feeling great so back to school she went! We were able to all go to the Frozen movie with the school which was really fun. Then before the Christmas parties we went to see Auntie Faith perform in the Madrigals! Wow they were incredible! The whole school was silent while they sang. Their voices are like Angels singing!
Then Saturday we went to lunch with everyone before the Nutcracker.
On Sunday we baked the rest of the cookies that needed to be done! We also made Boston Brown Bread and Thumbprint cookies in honor of Great Gramma's. It was sweet! It was a snowy blowy kind of day so we just laid low, cleaned up our rooms for Santa and wrote out some Thank you notes for some Christmas gifts we already received. Since we didn't go to the Spalding/Hoover Christmas Parties down state, Grandpa Bob and Grandma Sandee brought back your gifts for you! From the Spalding Party - Kailee received from Anna and she received a No Sew Blanket and Ripley's Believe it or Not Fact book!
Gracie received from Kennedy and she received a tote FULL of craft things, paper, markers, crayons, modeling clay the list is long!
From the Hoover Party -
