Week 29 - Camping with Conklins

A few of our days camping were rainy ones... but luckily the rain didn't last long! We always made the best of it!

I think your favorite from the trip was the late night Smore's! You all loved the variety of chocolate we made them with... Hershey's Chocolate, Reeces, Malt Balls, Peppermint Patties, or even Kit Kats! We are some daring Smore LUH-VAS!

Every morning (just about - since it rained 3 mornings) we would walk down to the beach and enjoy the beauty of the mornings.

Gramma Deb gave us these silly face pieces that you three hoolies made great use of!

We spent 3 days at the beach... where you got SWIMMERS ITCH! Poor babies were peppered in bites.

But I think it was worth it you all had so much fun!

Even the big boys... who did make shift "boats" to fish from out of Miss Dody's rafts and managed catch some fish!

 

On our last day of camp we had a big party with some other friends that came for a visit. We had so much fun... too much fun but it was worth it!

  After 7 days,  another Conklin/Spalding 4th Annual Vacation comes to a close... we laughed, we played euchre, we had more laughs, we relaxed, we enjoyed the company of our friends and best of all we made memories. You hoolies played down at the park almost the whole time! You crafted, you created, you even made new friends! You went for bike rides, you stayed up late and roasted marshmallows, you even enjoyed a camp fire nearly every night! It was so nice to continue our Annual tradition! I look forward to the years to come and treasure the years we've had!
