Week 26'ish

On the 3rd of July we went to the fireworks at East Park while daddy was working for the fire department there. We visited with Mr. Tony's family; Mr. Jeff, Miss Sarah & all their boys; Josh, Joey, Jamie, & Jonny. The extra little guy in the picture was a friend of daddy's kid -- he was a hand full!
4th of July parade in Boyne City!
Abby Doo learned how to ride a 2 wheeler!

It's been a fun week! You each were able to have a friend over; Kailee last Wednesday, Gracie this past Tuesday. On those days; Grandma Deb asked if she could keep you over night. So, Gracie stayed last Tuesday night and Kailee stayed this past Monday night. I know my "Weekly" blogging is more like 10 days but it has been a week of fun I couldn't tear myself away from! We went over to Grandma Deb & Grandpa Lou's for the 4th of July. We watched the parade, we played with cousin's and we stayed for the start of the fireworks! Luckily you both didn't put up a fight when it was time to go home. I could tell you both were extra sleepy! After our weekend of camping at Mr. Tony's house with his family -- you both slept in on Monday until 10 a.m. and you went to bed at 10 p.m. We have put in some late nights... last night you both were in bed and sleeping by 8:30 p.m. you both slept in until almost 9 a.m. this morning! It's been some good sleeping weather too; thunderstorms; rain and dreary days makes for easy sleeping. Finally we are getting some rain; which is making sun burnt grass look... less sun burnt.

We had such a good time camping playing with all of Mr. Tony's family. You both played in the "fort" the boys had made in the tree line. It was so cute! You definitely enjoyed having some different playmates over the weekend. You both also learned that boys play much differently than girls; but those boys of Mr. Jeff & Miss Sarah's were so nice to you. They are so sweet, loving and extremely careful around you as well. It was adorable to watch. You had so much fun; we managed to hit the beach Saturday and Sunday too. Grace loved the water and Kailee loved the sand! Miss Dody & Mr. Bryan came out to Mr. Tony's with Jordon and Autumn. You all had a riot.

When you each had your Grandma Debbie Day; you hung out at her house until someone could come and stay with Great Grandma. Then she took you to lunch/dinner and shopping. You each had some quality time and came home smiling! I love seeing you both have such a great connection like that. It makes my heart sing!

Our car "broke" yesterday... the gas tank "fell" whatever that means. So we are car less and cannot go anywhere. Not that we go many places anyway. Since it's dreary and rainy here today we are not feeling like we're missing out on anything anyway - thankfully!
