Great Gramma Ruthie

Poor Great Gramma had a stroke on Thursday, June 13th. She was in the hospital until Wednesday, June 19th. After that she came home with Gramma Deb & Grampa Lou so she could have someone with her at all times since Gramma Deb is not working. Great Gramma has been talking with this sweet southern belle voice. Its interesting to watch you both with her because you just understanding these new aand sometimes scary realities of life. There has been a lot of talk about what a stroke is, why it happens and who can it happen to. Our conversations are like a dance sometimes... a stroke happens when someones blood is too thick. It can happen to people who have thick blood. Thick blood is kind of like syrup...it can get clogged up if you pour it too fast This was the best explaination I could come up with and it kinda summarizes what the internet says. Great Gramma might live with Gramma Deb and Grampa Lou for a while or maybe even forever. Gramma Deb misses her mommy Gramma Joy alot. So taking care of Great Gramma makes her feel good inside. xoxox
